Īfter getting our fill at the buffet we decided to try our luck in the casino and arcade. Another plus was the well-stocked fruit section with a variety of fresh melons, pineapple, grapes, and strawberries as well as several types of canned fruit - AKA clean-burning fuel. Shawn's omelette was packed with large shrimp and the veggies in mine were cooked just the right amount. The cook manning the station was friendly and very generous with the make-your-own ingredients. I skipped all the hot dishes and instead headed straight for the omelette bar. As I've mentioned in other posts, I'm not a huge fan of buffets or food bars but this breakfast buffet was exactly what we were looking for. Up to this point we had been starting our days with hotel continental breakfasts, gluten-free bread and a jar of peanut butter and we were all more than ready for a substantial late-morning meal. After our glimpse back in time, we loaded back into the cars for the two-hour drive to Sin City with a quick stop in Mesquite, NV for breakfast at the Virgin River Buffet located in the Virgin River Casino.
